   I wanted to know whether there is some time in between completion of training and posting. I mean can I go home in that time.

   Nice work dude..iam samrat...hey chintan u mentioned tht the inhand salary is 16797 Rs per month.but Naveen (26th may batch) posted in the infy 2008 comm tht he got only 14k...pls clear d salary issue yaar..my package is 3 lpa..

   16797 was for 26th may batch who got extra for 5 days of may... Otherwise your friend is right... We get 14453 Rs inhand per month...

   And ofcourse the girls and boys hostels are separate...

   You r doing a fantastic job. Continue d good work. I have a question 4 u. When we reach Mysore we are asked to give a test that decides that v r going to Short Cycle or Long Cycle. Last month some Infy officials came to our colg and they said that if we pass that exam and go into Short Cycle then we wud be given a bonus of Rs. 5000. But this information is not confirmed by any other sources. Can you throw some light on the issue... that whether they actually pay that amount on passing the xam.... thanx in advance

   i have never heard Infy officials coming to colleges and announcing that.. Did they come for selection of juniors??
   
   And there is nothing like 5000 Rs bonus on clearing the exam... i have friends in fast track there... So its just a rumor..

   i have undergone trainin under the infosys CC program held in my college bt in the trainin i did nt score well so i m in a doubt tht will this effect me frm enterin the long cycle..
   
   and another question ..
   how is the faculty over there

    You only need to have the CC certificate to be eligible for the test and the marks will not affect whether you are put in long cycle or short.. That will be decided by ur marks in the test....
    
    And faculty is nice over there... No complaints from anyone till now..

    no worry dude..whatever u hv done in your cc course doesn't matter(pass or fail or not attended)..if your clg is a cc partner then u are eligible 4 tht screening test..thts what mohith said who is undergoing trning..and if u are from non cs/it then forget about fast track ...they are putting them in the long cycle only irrespective of how u do in tht test..thts one of my freind said who is there in mysore ..hope it clears..choose long cycle buddy..

    You dont need to worry about it if you are from pune. You will get the posting at the DC which is nearest to your native place as indicated in the form by you.. .
    
    Otherwise, yes, i have heard about people swapping but dont know how easily its available....

    My Query Is Whether I Was Allowed To Give The Test & Then My Performance Decide My Training Period Or Straight Way I'll Be Thrown To Long Term Cycle?
    
    I Want To Complete My Training Soon & Wanna Go For Short Term Cycle..
