   plz don't spread any rumors...My friend has completed his training and has got his final location of posting in Chandigarh with .Net as his working technology..he was in the june batch..
   I asked him about this info that 72/98 failed in .net
   his reply was, " You people sitting there at home can think anything and everything..aisa kuchh nahi hua...in .net there were 240+ people and 215-220 have cleared the final compre...
   though around 60% of them did not clear the exam in the first attempt but could manage to go through in the re-test.."
   And when I told him that this info is written on that blog "allaboutinfosys"
   he simply said, "that blog is managed by some trainee and agar main bhi aisa hi koi blog banakar kuchh bhi likh dun, then I bet that everyone sitting at their homes would believe to whatever I tell them..stop worrying..aaj tak infy ne itne zyada log kabhi nahi nikale..."
   He even told me that the effect of this economic crisis n slowdown in IT sector is also seen in infy bt it's only seen on the employees who are already working there..pehle infy mein salary increment hota tha within every 6 months..ab woh rule change ho gaya hai..they have recieved a notice saying that due to change in company policies no increment is being done for the 3rd n 4th quarter of this financial yr..
   Rest there's no relation between the IT slowdown n our joining...
   So juz chill guyz n do not believe on anything unless n until u confirm the info frm a few ppl..
   And all this was being told to me over the phone n there were some other frnds of my frnd also standing near him when I had this conversation with him..n they all laughed at my questions n worries..

    10 nov is a joining date...
    
    no test on the date of joining but the campus connect test is on the second monday after joining for CS-IT people and CC people...

    Doesnt matter... You can wear any type as long as it looks formal..

    hello chintan...i m a 2009 joinee.will the global slowdown affect our joining..i hve been selected on 21st feb ths yr,bt tl date didnt recieve ne sought of mail or offer letter frm INFY...when can we xpect to get all that???

    there wont be any effect on your joining...
    Infy people have been careful to not select more than required people from your batch...
    
    Anyways, Infy wont reject you once they select you no matter how worse the market conditions are...
    
    
    You will get the offer letter in 8-10 months of getting selected...

    hi chintan, u r doin a great job...i m currently undergoi PIT n waiti for DOJ..
    i have a doubt,i need to know wt s t passing marks we need to score in training.......first i heard it s 65% which includes negetive marking..now i heard it s 75% with no negetive marking.......
    in a batch wt s t percentage of students who ll successfully clear their complete training.......i m from ECE ,so not that much good in programming....so bit worried.....
    pls pls answer my 2 queries.....

    ders anoder thing.. i dint recv ne service agreement by courier but heard some ppl sayin v hav 2 get it signed n al.. wats dis bout?? do al students recv it?? or its only for Engg students...
    i m a BSc student n v wer told v'l b signin d bond once v reach at d place of joinin ie mysore

    Its still 65% with 1/4th negative marking...
    Everyone clears... You will clear if you just do all the slides and assignments sincerely...
    I think 1-2 % trainees would be made to leave due to underperformance...

    That test is for all CC people and also all CS-IT people.. Non CS-IT people having completed CC are also eligible...
    
    The subjects are those of generic training... Dont know much... Doesnt matter... Nothing to bother...

    I dont know if its different for Bsc people but otherwise too you get it only b4 3-4 days of joining... Dont worry about that... you have to submit it in 1 months time after joining..

    Noone can tell you your DOJ except Infy mail... There is no way in which you can know it in advance...

    hi chinton .,
    am joining infy onnov 10th . u told about the exam int he second monday for all CC nd CS/IT . am n IT nd CC stud .......... if i clear tht means ill be put in to fast track for 2.5 months? but i heard they had canclled the fast track . am not sure . pls gelp me on this

    Infy campus has only ICICI ATMs but you can withdraw money by using other bank's atms also..
    
    The extra charge is only about 20 Rs per 1000 Rs...
