   those who pass are given some assignment which wud be to write a book review and essay ... you will be given a non-technical book from the library and told to write about it..
   
   those who dont clear have some lectures about english.... this is on this saturday itself which is tomm... the first saturday after joining is the only one that they will teach...

   cn v swap rooms if sme1 is intrestd in swappin???

   We reached by 10:30 but you can come by 11... Friends dont get shared bedroom... You cannot change your room....
   
   
   just come late so that all the vacancies of shared rooms are filled up... then single rooms will be allotted...

   how many rooms are approx availabe as per now??i mean both the shared ones and the singe...or are they filled up??

   I cannot say actually because every saturday you will see a lot of people leaving and on sunday you see a lot of people coming in... So in one day, we cant know about the vacancies...

   Ya, reach at 11 in the morning the preceeding day.. You can also ask the security guard at the registration desk if they have started allotting single bed rooms... We didnt ask but i think he will tell you...
   
   Ya, bring one bag because you will have to carry 1 small notebook to take down some of the things that they say and also you will need it to carry your originals for the verification process which is on wednesday....

   r ther any training centres in chennai? sorry for this stupid qn.. but it wud be nice if u cid answer this.. is any1 given training in chennai?

   No, training is now at mysore only... They used to give training at various centres b4...
   
   But you can have your final posting in chennai... And believe me, there is no better place to be trained than in mysore... This is the best place for trainees..

    hello chintan....
    i have my joining on 7 march 2010. but till now i haven't got any mails from infosys regarding any medical check up or any other kind of stuff.can u please tell that how long before joining they send u the mail regarding the final reporting procedure and about medical check up...

    You should have gotten the mail now but if you dont get the mail, dont worry.
    
    Only offer letter is enough for joining. Everything else can be taken care of there.
